
Barclays has reduced rates by as much as 19 basis points and launched its lowest rate so far this year.
The lender has launched its lowest rate so far this year at 3.85%. The EMC reward two-year fixed with a product fee of £999 at 60% LTV has been lowered from 3.95% to 3.85%.
The EMC reward five-year fixed product with no fee at 60% LTV has also been cut to 3.99% from 4.14%.
The fee-free remortgage great escape two-year fixed at 60% loan-to-value (LTV) with no product fee has been reduced by 19bps to 4.18%.
In addition, the purchase only premier two-year fixed with a product fee of £899 at 60% LTV has been lowered from 3.91% to 3.86%.
The green home two-year fixed with no product fee at 75% LTV will be reduced from 4.17% to 4.08%.
Meanwhile, Principality Intermediaries has decreased rates across residential and joint borrower sole proprietor mortgages by as much as 0.21%.
The lender’s residential two-year fixed 75% LTV products have been reduced by as much as 0.21% while two-year fixed 65% LTV products have been cut by up to 0.16%.
In addition, residential mortgages with cashback two-year fixed at 75% LTV have been cut by 0.20%.
Joint borrower sole proprietor mortgages have also been lowered including two-year fixed 75% LTV product, which have gone down by 0.20% while the equivalent five-year has been cut by 0.05%.
