The firm provides insolvency, litigation and forensic services to a range of companies across the finance and banking sector, on matters ranging from restructuring to asset recovery and fraud investigation.
In addition, Griffins also works closely with the insolvency, recovery and restructuring industry’s regulators to promote insolvency practitioners’ interests and advise on matters of conduct.
Vic Jannels (pictured), chief executive of the ASTL, said: “I’m happy to welcome Griffins on board as associate members of the ASTL.
“2020 has been a challenging year, but we have continued to grow our membership with like-minded businesses that demonstrate a focus on high standards and the end customer.
“This shows the importance of having a strong and credible trade body to represent the interests of our industry and continue to promote good practise in the short term lending sector.”
Frank Turnbull, senior manager of litigation and forensics at Griffins, added: “Griffins are delighted to be joining the ASTL and look forward to working with the network of members to promote the interests of the industry, and provide practical advice and support to its members.
“Short-term lending and property finance is a key area for the UK economy, and we are keen to share our experience in restructuring and insolvency with the ASTL members and work with new partners to tackle the fresh challenges 2021 has to offer.”
