McLoughlin joins with more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and was most recently national sales manager at LV= General Insurance and has previously worked at Legal & General, and Home Serve.

In his new role, McLoughlin will be responsible for developing business with mortgage intermediaries, brokers and financial advisers.

He will report to Allianz UK partnerships director Sarah Watts.
