Sancus hires Stevens as head of sales for the south

The bridging and development loans firm says veteran Stevens will be responsible for leading a business development team in the region and boosting its presence in the area.

He reports to UK sales director Richard Whitehouse.

The firm says Stevens has Jaxon has almost 25 years of experience in financial consultancy and management roles “with a proven track record in building high-level B2B relationships and has managed teams nationwide”.

Prior to joining Sancus, Stevens was at Omni Property Finance, where he was responsible for national business development. Before that, he was at Positive Lending where he was national sales manager and head of networks.

Sancus lends to developers, construction specialists and their introducers, and provides funding opportunities for high net worth individuals, family offices and institutional investors.

Stevens joins the firm’s recent recruits, Mel Fourie, head of sales for the North, who joined the company this month, and Emma Tempest and Saimir Kurti who joined in June to expand its bridging finance division.

Stevens says: “Sancus has some significant expansion plans in the property finance sector and having an opportunity to help grow and develop the existing sales team in the South, increase the awareness of the competitive proposition and work with some very impressive people is a great opportunity for me.”

Richard Whitehouse adds that Stevens “personality, drive, enthusiasm and knowledge is a great fit for us”.
