Kensington Mortgages has restructured its field business development management team, which it says will strengthen its relationships with brokers.
The Barclays-owned specialist lender has promoted Phillip Pinson and Stephen Chitty to regional sales managers for the North and South respectively, while retaining their existing business development manager positions.
Pinson and Chitty will manage the four regional business development managers in their area with the business maintaining its eleven-person field sales team.
Sharan Cochrane has also been promoted to regional sales manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The lender says the remit of its business development managers remains unchanged, “with a focus on educating brokers and helping them to expand their businesses by identifying opportunities for growth and development in the specialist sector”.
The business will also maintain its overall pre- and post-sales support, including national accounts, telephone business development managers, and new business assistant teams, which are overseen by head of intermediary sales Jane Atkins.
Atkins says the structure “includes a range of valuable support for brokers, from training and education to collaborating on specific complex cases and helping them to identify the right products for their customers.
“Our strong presence across the UK, including dedicated support in Scotland and Northern Ireland, remains a key strength, allowing us to deliver tailored, region-specific services.”
