Dudley Building Society has appointed Mike Hudson as a non-executive director of the mutual organisation.
In this role Hudson will be chair of the building society’s risk committee.
Hudson has over 40 years experience in financial services, as has worked as a chief risk officer for the past 15 years. He currently holds this position at Cambridge and Counties Bank.
Dudley BS says this appointment will support its ambitious growth plans moving into 2024 and beyond.
Dudley BS chair Peter Hubbard says: “It is vital that all financial institutions have in place the very best risk oversight.” He adds that given Hudson’s experience in this area he will be a good addition to the society’s board as it looks to expand.
