Aldermore has appointed Andy Porter as business development manager within its commercial real estate (CRE) team.
Porter brings more than 20 years of experience across property finance, commercial banking and credit risk.
He joins Aldermore from United Trust Bank, where he was senior director of property development.
Prior to that, Porter spent more than 12 years at Close Brothers Property Finance, progressing from senior business development manager to business development director.
He has also held senior roles at Barclays and RBS, where he worked across corporate banking, relationship management and credit risk.
Commenting on his new role, Porter says: “Having spent many years working closely with property investors and developers, I was attracted to Aldermore’s relationship-led approach and its commitment to providing long-term support.”
