Ecology Building Society has appointed two new business development managers (BDMs).
Andy Pearson and Georgia Midgley take on the roles to strengthen the society’s service to intermediaries from its team of green mortgage specialists.
Pearson joined Ecology two years ago as a mortgage advisor before being appointed to his new telephone BDM role. He has worked in the sector for more than 15 years.
Midgley has 10 years of experience in the mortgage industry before joining Ecology as a telephone BDM, having previously worked in that role at another mutual lender.
Ecology senior mortgages product and proposition manager Daniel Capstick says: “Intermediaries play a key role in supporting our lending ambitions so we can reach more customers and increase our impact.”
“Our two new telephone BDMs are the latest investment in what Ecology offers to brokers, who are already seeing the benefits of improvements we’ve made to our product range and systems.”
“Further enhancements to our online service will be visible in the coming weeks, making us quicker and easier to deal with. We continue to work closely with brokers to better understand their needs and tailor our service so it’s the best it can be.”
Last week, L&G’s Mortgage Club business added Ecology Building Society to its lender panel.
