The State of Florida eligibility groups have been updated. All Florida residents 40 and older are eligible starting March 29. 

Starting April 5, everyone 16 and older can get vaccinated. Instead of spending hours searching the internet, you can use our all-in-one guide on where to get the COVID vaccine in Palm Beach County. The vaccine is free for recipients.

Covid-19 vaccine eligible groups:

Long-term care facility residents and staff.

Persons 40 and older (drops to 16 on April 5)

Health care personnel with direct patient contact.

Persons 16 to 39 deemed to be extremely vulnerable to COVID-19 by hospital providers and doctors. The state published this form for vulnerable residents to get signed by doctors and use at vaccination sites.

All K-12 school employees, day care workers and preschool workers (at some sites). 

Where to Get Vaccine:

The Health Care District of Palm Beach County provides vaccines to Florida residents 40 and older, plus those 18-49 with medical conditions (state form required). You can call 561-804-4115 for an appointment. Another number is 1-866-201-6754. You can schedule your appointment here

This tool lets you see all the available pharmacy appointments at once (you can search by ZIP). Possibility of some pharmacy openings have not yet been updated.

Publix. All 67 Publix locations in Palm Beach County are giving the COVID vaccine. Appointments are required. Publix is providing vaccines to people 50 and older as well as people under 50 deemed medically necessary. Appointment reservations open at 7 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and can be made by visiting publix.com/covid-vaccine. Appointments made Wednesday, for Saturday and Sunday shots, are for the one-dose J&J vaccine, and teachers will get priority for these appointments. Appointments made Monday and Friday, for shots on weekdays, are for the Moderna vaccine, which requires two shots. NOTE: No new appointments will be scheduled on March 31.
