Theatre Arts Production is offering free tickets for a live musical performance in Wellington. “Matilda The Musical” will be presented on August 19-20, 2022. The musical's narrative centers on Matilda, a precocious 5-year-old girl with the gift of telekinesis. She loves reading and overcomes obstacles caused by her family and school. Additionally, Matilda helps her favorite teacher regain her life. 

The gifted and bright little girl develops a love of reading. In the face of her contemptuous parents and difficult principal at school, Matilda incorporates rebellion with her magical powers. The production takes place at Wellington High School, 2101 Greenview Shores Boulevard, in Wellington. 

The idea of Theatre Arts Production, a nonprofit theatre company, is to provide accessible live theater to the public without a high-ticket price. Students perform the shows, often for a young audience. The show will be performed at 7:00 p.m. on both nights. Additionally, there will be a matinee performance at 1:00 p.m. on August 20, 2022.
