Toorak Capital Partners hires Goldman as head of asset management Mortgage Finance Gazette

Toorak Capital Partners has hired Scott Goldman as head of asset management.   

The New Jersey-based capital provider for residential private lenders says Goldman will be responsible for managing its asset portfolio and servicing oversight. 

It says Goldman brings nearly 25 years of experience to the business. Prior to joining Toorak, he served as vice president at Cenlar FSB for just under two years, where he developed and implemented risk management processes for the US residential portfolio firm.  

He also worked for Ally Bank for over 17 years, leaving as managing director, mortgage servicing operations, where he led a team of 25 associates managing operations for the lender’s $11bn portfolio.    

Toorak chief executive John Beacham says: “His [Scott’s] expertise in residential mortgage finance, risk management, secondary marketing, and servicing operations will be instrumental in helping us continue to strategically align and expand our business.”
