United Trust Bank Mortgages for Intermediaries has promoted three members of its sales team, as the lender bids to bolster links with brokers and grow distribution.
Chris Pedlar and Jigar Patel become heads of specialist distribution of the North and the South, respectively. Hannah Oades becomes head of clubs and networks.
Pedlar and Patel will assume responsible for intermediary sales generated from UTB’s packaging partners and will be the main points of contact for key broker accounts.
The bank adds that the pair will seek to “build and maintain key existing relationships and will undertake regular strategic meetings with firms to ensure that there is a clear collaborative plan to drive continual improvements to service and quality in their regions”.
Oades will oversee the development of club and network accounts, a distribution channel the lender has expanded over the last year.
Pedlar has worked at the bank for almost seven years. Patel joined the lender almost nine years ago and was previously a key accounts manager, specialist mortgages. Oades, has worked at the business for three-and-a-half years, and was previously a corporate accounts manager.
All three will continue to report to director of sales & marketing, mortgages Caroline Mirakian.
Mirakian says: “Chris, Jigs and Hannah have had a brilliant last year and made substantial contributions to the development of UTB’s mortgage business.
“Their new roles recognise their hard work and expand their responsibilities, giving them new challenges and incentives to maintain the tremendous progress they have made.”
