TSB raises residential and BTL LTVs - Mortgage Strategy

TSB will now lend at up to 80 per cent LTV for residential products and 75 per cent LTV for buy-to-let mortgages.

The new mortgages will be available as two-, three-, five-, and 10-year fixes. For residential, ERCs will apply to five-year fixes, and for BTL, 10-year fixes.

The lender is also issuing a new two-year tracker for purchase and remortgage at up to 80 per cent LTV with no ERCs. It will command a £995 fee.

In a note to brokers, TSB adds that a number of its two-year residential remortgage products at up to 75 per cent LTV will receive rate cuts of up to 0.25 per cent, while two- and three- year fixed rate purchase products from 60 per cent to 75 per cent LTV will see cuts of up to 0.20 per cent.

The lender reintroduced remortgage deals up to 80 per cent LTV and residential purchase products up to 75 per cent LTV in early April.
