The business development arm of Saffron Building Society, which is holding the online event from 11am tomorrow (Friday 23 October), will also be offering brokers who take part with the chance to ask case-specific questions in the ‘Criteria Clinic’.

It is part of the SFI Live series of webinars, on-demand videos and podcasts, which include communications on hot topics of discussion in the industry, education around new and existing products and useful updates.

Tony Hall, interim head of mortgage sales and Holly Andrews, BDM team leader, from Saffron for Intermediaries, will be on the panel to discuss options for first-time buyers, gifted deposits and will open up to viewers for questions relating to criteria for all products.

This will be a live and interactive webinar, with independent host Jay Evans receiving questions from the viewers and putting them to the panel during the broadcast.

Tony Hall, said: “The first SFI Live was such a success, and it was great to communicate directly with brokers in a fresh, modern and different way.

“Whilst this time we will be initially discussing the current situation for first-time buyers – in particular providing insight into the Joint Buyer Sole Proprietor mortgage and gifted deposits – in the second webinar of the series we are really opening up the floor for intermediaries to ask case-specific questions relating to criteria.

“We will be live, and Holly and I will try to answer as many questions as we can in the hour available, so we would encourage as many people as possible to join us, if they can.”
