The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum announced last week that it will begin to reopen and allow visitors to start climbing the lighthouse tower steps this Saturday, May 30th.
Guests can also start to enjoy the historic grounds, climbing the 1860’s lighthouse tower 105 steps and visit the lighthouse gift shop. The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is opening in a few phases.
The reopening this Saturday is part of Phase One. The Lighthouse and Museum will have limited hours and limited days. The hours of operation are Thursday through Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm with the last grounds admission being at 3 pm.
The Lighthouse and Museum will also host two Members Only days prior to the opening. On Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th the Lighthouse and Museum will be open to Lighthouse members only. Anyone interested in being a lighthouse member should visit their website.
Additional safety measures will be put in place including frequent cleaning, sanitizing stations, staff are required to wear masks and hand sanitizer. Visitors must wear a mask when climbing the lighthouse tower or visiting the museum’s gift shop.

- No Tours are being offered: visitors may download the Lighthouse app and followed the audio tours on your smartphone
- All visitors must wear a mask
- Only 10 people at a time in the lighthouse
- Social distancing must be followed
- Tindall Pioneer House, The History Museum and Keeper’s Workshop exhibits remain closed
- New hours: Thursday through Sunday 10 am to 4 pm (last admission 3 pm)
