Low deposit mortgage specialist Home me has launched onto the UK mortgage market, aiming to offer customers with small deposits access to mortgages.

According to the broker, it intends to specialise in ‘boosting’ mortgages, offering buyers a range of product options at a time when the average cost of a property soars above the average wage.

Home me director, Bulent Kandemir, says: “Our mission is to help people to get out of renting and into home owning. We believe there is a great opportunity not just to help people find the best mortgage deal, but to help them access funds that can make the difference between buying their first property and buying their first home.”

“Home me understands that people’s buying power increases as they gain more experience and years in their jobs, however they increasingly miss the boat with the property market,” he adds.

According to Kandemir, consumers increasingly work to save on a deposit in their desired location, only to find prices continue to surge past levels they can afford.

The company was set up by London-based broker, Intra Private Finance. It aims to lend £200m in its first year, supporting 500 property buyers across the UK.
