Amazon is coming to Jupiter, the large company with millions of goods announced this week that they are planning on building a giant fulfillment center in northern Palm Beach County. The online shopping giant plans to build a one million square foot facility and the new facility will create hundreds of new full-time jobs.

The new Jupiter location will be Amazon’s third fulfillment center in Palm Beach County. The company announced last month of building a delivery station in Boca Raton and last year, Amazon opened their 96,000 square foot delivery warehouse west of the turnpike in West Palm Beach.  In addition to the news of the new Jupiter location, Amazon announced that the online company plans on opening a retail store in The Gardens Mall.

The new fulfillment center in Jupiter will be located at 4490 Corporate Road North at the Florida Research Park off Beeline Highway. Jupiter’s location will join seven other Amazon Centers in the State of Florida and the company said that they have created more than 30,000 jobs in Florida in the last ten years.

The new facility is not expected to be open until the fall of 2021.
