Clifford brings expertise from both estate agency and mortgage brokering and in his new role will work across the region to mentor self-employed brokers and support their day-to-day operations.

He joins from Countrywide, where he was mortgage services sales manager for three years. Clifford began his career in an independent estate agency before moving to Connells as branch manager.

He then trained as an adviser with Sequence, rising to mortgage service manager before moving into self-employment and then to Countrywide.

Commenting on his appointment Clifford said: “Joining a fast-growing, ambitious company like Just Mortgages is incredibly exciting, as its culture and mindset perfectly align with my own.
