The Loans Engine has appointed three new trainee advisers to its second charge team.

The appointments, which are part of the specialist finance broker’s 2022 growth plans, include Francesco Amato, Mohmmad Ahmed and Tanisha Morris.

In addition, The Loans Engine has promoted Daniel Duggan to lead the team and will focus on the new trainee’s training and development.

Duggan, one of the company’s top advisers, has worked at the company for eight years.

Over the past 12 months, The Loans Engine’s head of regulated mortgages Paul Zammit says the company has “experienced significant demand for second charge borrowing”.

Zammit explains that expanding the adviser teams has been “critical to ensure that we continue to deliver an exceptional service to our intermediaries and clients”.

“Over the next year, we anticipate the demand for second charges to increase further, as the cost of living rises and a greater range of people become reliant on taking out credit to clear debts. Due to this, we have big growth plans for 2022 and so expanding our teams further is a core goal of ours throughout the rest of the year,” he adds.
