Specialist property finance brokerage Word On The Street has appointed Ben Hartley as its first mortgage broker.
It says Hartley (pictured) will work under the banner of the firm, “benefitting from its infrastructure and experience”.
Hartley has previously worked at Together, where he held a direct sales role across buy-to-let, bridging, commercial and development finance. Hartley has also worked at Lowry Capital and Stretton Capital.
The brokerage was launched in 2022 and focuses on landlord and commercial mortgages as well as bridging, development and auction finance.
It adds that it is also “set to open its doors to property finance introducers”.
Word On The Street founding partner Michael Street says: “Growing Word On The Street has always been the intention, and we have wider plans to create a community where brokers, lenders, and customers can connect, share knowledge, and access opportunities that drive better outcomes for everyone involved.
“Bringing Ben into the team will enable us to explore this mutual value-add and continue our non-standard approach to growth and success.”
Hartley adds: “I have honed a skillset that focuses on the expert assessment of cases at the outset, including exit viability, and use that to save clients time and money, as well as manage expectations.”
