25 North Street, an award-winning two-story, 10,802 square foot architectural jewel-box located in downtown Healdsburg, California has changed hands. Healdsburg Compass agents, Alain-Martin Pierret and Johnny Drake represented the buyers.

Brilliantly envisioned by owners Cindy Daniel and Doug Lipton, 25 North’s SHED became a downtown icon in Healdsburg, a delightful “modern grange” and acclaimed local restaurant and marketplace. The property was built in 2013 and became the recipient of many notable awards including the 2014 James Beard Outstanding Restaurant Design Award, the 2015 Chicago Athenaeum American Architecture Award, and the 2015 AIA San Francisco Merit Award.

The new owners acquired Healdsburg’s beloved SHED as a way to give back to their longtime home away from home. Slated to open later this fall, Little Saint will be an uplifting gathering place where music, art, food and conversations are good for the soul, the earth and our community.

An extension of Saint Joseph’s Arts Foundation in San Francisco, the mission of the non-profit 501(c)3 Little Saint is to foster immersive experiences that bring local art, artists and innovative ideas to the forefront of our daily lives. Designer and developer Ken Fulk joins with the new owners to carry out this vision.

“The community here and beyond will be pleased to learn that this anchor of downtown Healdsburg’s shopping and dining scene, will be taking on a new life,” Drake said. “The farm-to-table concept organically resonates with the locals. When you are surrounded by the award-winning architecture, you feel as if you are in a rarefied space filled with palate-pleasing opportunities.”

According to Pierret, the new owner is a resident of the Healdsburg region.

“The new concept, called ‘Little Saint,’ is an evolution of SHED’s legacy,” Pierret said. “It will be an extension of Saint Joseph’s Arts Foundation, a non-profit organization based in San Francisco that supports local musicians, artists, artisans and innovative chefs. The mission for Little Saint is blessed with an exceptional commitment for the greater good of Healdsburg.”
