The Financial Conduct Authority has launched a portal for registered and authorised firms.

The portal, which the regulator previously announced in February, will allow firms to sign in to My FCA once to see RegData and Connect scheduled tasks in one place.

Prior to the launch, firms needed to sign in to three different systems.

Connect, RegData and Online Invoicing System users who have registered for multi-factor authentication will be able to sign in to My FCA using their existing details.

It will not be mandatory to sign in via My FCA to use the other websites.

The FCA says the new portal “will make it easier to fulfil regulatory responsibilities while improving user experience”.

FCA chief data, intelligence and information officer Jessica Rusu says: “We’re committed to being a smarter regulator under our new strategy.”

“Central to that is us being easier to engage with. We’ve listened to feedback and created a simple, clear and easy way for firms to meet their regulatory obligations.”
