Paradigm has promoted Richard Howes to the newly-created role of managing director of its Paradigm Mortgage Services business.

The appointment follows a Paradigm review of its operations, including its distribution strategy.

In his new role Howes will be tasked with driving growth across the business and building on partnerships with member firms, strategic partners and suppliers to help expand Paradigm.

Howes (pictured) was previously director of mortgages, having joined Paradigm Mortgage Services in July 2021 from Santander for Intermediaries.

Paradigm Mortgage Services chief executive Bob Hunt said: “I’m delighted to see the hard work of Richard recognised in this promotion which reflects his individual contribution and the confidence the group has in him for the next stage of our growth.
