With the summer coming to an end for students in Palm Beach County and Martin County, the state of Florida is having their Back to School Sales Tax Holiday again this year.

Beginning this Saturday, July 31^st through Monday, August 9^th, shoppers will be exempt from sales tax in the state of Florida for certain school supplies and items. The Back to School Sales Tax exemption will be automatically deducted at checkout when purchasing qualifying items.

Items Include:

• School Supplies (Less than $15 dollars per item)- pens, pencils, erasers, notebooks, glue, calculators, and rulers.
• Clothing, Footwear, and certain accessories (Less than $60 dollars per item)- includes clothing, shoes, wallets, and bags.
• The first $1000 of the sales price of personal computers and certain computer related items- including personal computers, desktops, tablets, electronic book readers, keyboards, modems, routers, and monitors.

Classes are expected to begin in Martin County on Wednesday, August 11^th and classes are expected to begin in Palm Beach County Tuesday, August 10^th.
