The digital business says in his new role Stimson will lead its mortgage proposition as well as its broker-facing and technology operations.

Stimson (pictured), who joined the firm’s sister automated loan originations company MQube in 2019, was previously head of product.

MPowered Mortgages chief executive Stuart Cheetham says: “Peter has been instrumental to the growth and influence of MPowered as a mainstream residential mortgage lender.

Peter is also known as co-host of The Rate Stuff, a podcast he presents alongside Gallia Communications founder Jack Izzard, which offers analysis on swap and interest rate trends, and the economic forces shaping the mortgage industry.
