Skin in the game

If you've purchased a home, you know that the offer to purchase requires you to submit your earnest money shortly after your offer is accepted. The earnest money is your "skin in the game", your upfront money that is potentially at risk if you don't follow through with your purchase.

At Mad City Dream Homes, we also have "skin in the game" when we start working with you.

When you're buying, we invest a lot of our time into helping you understand the market, carrying out your search, introducing you to properties, and negotiating your offer. We invest our time knowing that there are no guarantees that you will end up buying a home.

Likewise, when you're selling, we invest a lot of our time and money into your preparation and marketing. Our customized approach means we often make significant upfront investments into your staging, cosmetic updates, home repairs, and digital media. We make these investments fully expecting our investments to result in a successful sale, knowing nothing is guaranteed.

When we have skin in the game alongside you, it's a way of showing you that we're a committed partner, that we're willing to put our time and money on the line in order to help you reach your goal. And good things tend to follow when both partners are committed.
