LendInvest has launched a telephone-based business development manager (BDM) team and hired five business development associates to strengthen support for brokers.

Josh Beattie and Callum McLaughlin are the lender’s new telephone BDMs, with a focus on engaging with brokers, managing leads and providing assistance.

The lender has also expanded its sales desk by hiring five business development associates, who will support brokers across buy-to-let, specialist residential and bridging finance.

The team will handle enquiries ranging from broker registrations and sales enquiries to support using the mortgage portal.

All new roles will be based at LendInvest’s Glasgow office and will work alongside the lender’s existing team of nine field BDMs and specialist bridging division.
