Please. Thank You. You're Welcome.

When we use these words often, every day, we give ourselves the opportunity to prosper as real estate professionals. We contribute to a culture where everyone on the team has the opportunity to prosper, too.

Saying please

Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. In the world of real estate, we can't possibly be the expert in every situation. We can't always have the bandwidth to do all the work that we need to do -- and all on our own. We all need people in our lives that we can rely on when we're in a tight spot. Ultimately, we enjoy a more fulfilling and productive career when we regularly ask for help.

Saying thank you

When we're in the habit of saying thank you, with sincerity, we show our peers that we value their contributions. It's a display of our own humility, that we don't view ourselves as being above others. It implies that we will be there to help our team members when they need help, too. It's a habit that engenders mutual respect.

Saying you're welcome

Saying "you're welcome" affirms the decision to ask for help. It reinforces the culture of teamwork and is a signal to others that this is what we do: We ask for help when we need it. We show our appreciation for our team members when they help us. And when we help a teammate, we let them know that we're here to help in the future, too.
