The Financial Intermediary and Broker Association has joined sister brand SimplyBiz Mortgages to launch the Specialist Property Finance Club.

The club has been formed in response to more interest in specialist finance, which saw Fiba’s membership double last year.

It will offer adviser members easier access to commercial lending products such as bridging loans and development finance from an initial 12 Fiba lender partners.

The club adds the addition of more lenders and, for members, exclusive deals and enhanced procuration fees alongside other benefits, are also on the menu.

SimplyBiz chief executive Martin Reynolds says: ““As many firms have taken the opportunity to diversify over the past 12 momentous months, we are excited to bring a unique opportunity to market, through our relationship with sister association Fiba.

“Whilst some of the lenders who are part of the launch of the club will be familiar to our members, others could potentially be new and therefore offer new and innovative solutions for client requirements.”

Fiba executive chairman Adam Tyler adds: “The demand across the SimplyBiz Mortgages membership for access to the lender partners at Fiba has meant that the creation of the Specialist Property Finance Club was important at a time when there has been such a growing interest in the sector.”
