The Openwork Partnership has selected four Mortgage Brain tools for use across its adviser technology platform.

Openwork and 2plan mortgage advisers will have access to Sourcing Brain, Criteria Brain, Affordability Brain and Submissions Brain through an integration with Plannr.

The integration is designed to allow client information to move between Plannr and Mortgage Brain’s tools without advisers having to re-key data as a case progresses from research to lender decision.

Openwork says the wider technology project is aimed at saving advisers 60 minutes on each client case.

The latest versions of Mortgage Brain’s tools will also provide access to decisions in principle from Halifax, Nationwide, Santander, Coventry, Leeds Building Society, Accord and TSB.

Full mortgage applications will be available through Halifax and Nationwide.

Advisers will also be able to resubmit cases to lenders without re-entering client information.

Openwork chief commercial officer Rob Askham says: “We’re delighted that Mortgage Brain’s modules will be powering our mortgage research and submissions.

“As Mortgage Brain’s tech is embedded in Plannr, our advisers will be able to move from research and recommendation to lender decision without re-keying client data, allowing them to enter information once or less.”

Mortgage Brain chief commercial officer Neil Wyatt says: “Our tools are informed by adviser testing and feedback and designed around the challenges brokers face day to day.

“Being chosen by Openwork to form part of its new adviser technology suite is an endorsement of that.”
