Mortgage Magic launches online chat between brokers and clients | Mortgage Strategy

Mortgage Magic has a launched online chat function that allows brokers to contact clients on its digital platform. 

The firm says its platform can automatically create a chat group — through its customer relationship management system — that includes the clients, mortgage adviser and mortgage administrators working on individual cases, “making it easier to maintain open communication throughout the advice and application process”. 

Its cloud-based platform includes a built-in CRM system, E-ID verification, direct messaging and secure UK-based document storage that complies with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation. 

This allows brokers to carry out a range of tasks that includes sourcing, conveyancing, general insurance and protection, the company says. 

Mortgage Magic director Tanjir Sugar says: “We are continually working on enhancements to the Mortgage Magic platform to ensure that it provides brokers with a single, comprehensive solution for running their business.  

“Online chat can provide a quick and easy way to deal with enquiries throughout the advice and application process and by including mortgage administrators as well as advisers, Mortgage Magic makes sure that everyone is kept in the loop.  

“The platform has been developed by advisers and independent financial advisers, working alongside technology experts, to deliver a solution that enables intermediary businesses to work more effectively and efficiently, and the introduction of our chat functionality is one more tool that supports this.” 

In August, the firm launched its Prometheus back office system for brokers, which it said at the time was a “collaboration between a group of independent financial advisers and mortgage advisers and technology experts, who worked together to conceive an intelligent mortgage platform for the industry”.
