Mortgage Marketing Forum is set to relaunch in October to focus on peer group networking, marketing, technology and business culture for marketing professionals across the mortgage sector.

As part of the relaunch, Matt Smith, managing director at wpb, will oversee the forum’s commercial operations.

He will be supported by Sarah Davidson, Metro Money columnist and head of research at wpb and Charlee McLaughlin, wpb’s head of client engagement.

The forum’s members include those from large banks, specialist lenders and building societies.

The change of direction follows the departure of the Forum’s founder Jeff Knight in June to pursue other opportunities. He remains a silent shareholder.

Commenting on the relaunch, Smith says: “The Forum will turn its focus to providing year-round events online, blending subject matter experts, high-level experienced guests, research insights and exclusive networking opportunities, reinforcing its commitment to building, challenging, and equipping tomorrow’s mortgage marketers.”

“We will be offering the same great service but plan to shift the Forum’s focus to reflect our members’ needs in today’s market.”
