The Conveyancing Association has released its agenda for its annual conference and dinner next month.
The conference, called ‘Moving Towards the Digital Age’, takes place at the Hilton Deansgate Hotel in Manchester, on 6 February.
The body says the event will look at “how conveyancing firms can prepare for, and benefit from, digital-focused solutions within the home buying and selling process,” and will be chaired by Conveyancing Association director Eddie Goldsmith.
The keynote speaker this year is property expert Kate Faulkner, who appears regularly on TV and radio, and is part of the industry-wide working groups Home Buying and Selling and The Lettings Industry Council.
She will deliver a property market and economic forecast for 2024 and outline her ongoing work.
Other sessions throughout the day will include ‘Digitisation and Automation – what do they really mean for conveyancers?’ By Rob Gurney of Ochresoft and Chris Loaring of Landmark.
There will also be a ‘Digital Signatures and Source of Funds’ discussion, chaired by the Conveyancing Association’s Beth Rudolf.
Landmark Information Group is the headline sponsor, Pexa is the event sponsor, and Conveyancing Data Services is the headline dinner sponsor, which will raise money for the Children’s Society.
