ModaMortgages has hired a head of sales and two business development directors at the soon-to-launch buy-to-let broker-only lender.
It has appointed Scott Phillips as head of sales, while Becki Fraser-Tucker becomes senior business development manager and Bec Murray joins as a business development manager.
Phillips will oversee the specialist lender’s field-based team of business development managers. He has 25 years of experience in financial services, including roles as a national account manager at Vida Homeloans, Hampshire Trust Bank, and OneSavings Bank.
Fraser-Tucker has also worked across a range of national account manager and business development manager posts, including roles with OSB, Bank of Ireland, and HTB.
Murray previously spent over 16 years with HSBC, first, as a mortgage and protection adviser before progressing to area mortgage manager responsible for advisers and advice.
The pair will manage broker relationships across the UK and help Phillips in growing the business development manager team.
ModaMortgages, due to launch “in the coming months”, is owned by Chetwood Financial, a Wrexham-based digital bank.
Phillips says: “There is a clear sense that we are at the start of something very exciting, and our no-nonsense approach to BTL lending is exactly what the broker market is crying out for.
“Having Becki and Bec join the team at the same time is also a real coup. Building strong relationships between brokers and business development managers will be fundamental to ModaMortgages’ delivery of exceptional service, and Becki and Bec are perfectly placed to do just that.”
Earlier this month, the business hired former Shawbrook Bank manager Darrell Walker as head of mortgage sales and distribution.
And in September, Precise Mortgages founder Ian Lonergan became Chetwood Financial group chair.
