Show Mother Earth Love Palm Beach County

Every day, Resource Depot encourages others to have fun with diverse materials, inspiring children, and adults to express themselves through creating. Resource Depot provides inspiration and resources to Palm Beach County’s next generation to value and care for the planet they are inheriting through reuse and repurposing. Show Mother Earth love, as the saying goes, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”

For over 20 years, Resource Depot's center for creative reuse has turned waste into artistic wonder by collecting and distributing excess materials to the benefit of classrooms, summer camps, art studios, and most importantly, the environment. The Resource Depot GalleRE is located at 2508 Florida Avenue, in West Palm Beach.

The gallery exhibits local artists that incorporate the reuse of materials into various art forms. The space is intended to display what artistically can be done with what most people discard and serves as an educational space to remind people what the imagination can accomplish. The gallery highlights the work of artists, “who transformed found objects from Resource Depot’s ‘Warehouse of Wonder’ that sparked their individual curiosity and created inspiration for new works of art,” according to the website. “These artists, like thousands of teachers, artists, and families, will rely on Resource Depot as a source of diverse materials to enrich, inform, and inspire creativity through ReUSE.”

The Resource Depot is open Tuesdays through Thursdays and Saturdays. For more information, please call 561-882-0090. The organizers will gladly accept donations and admission is FREE. Show Mother Earth love and reuse, recycle and re-enjoy!
