In the world of luxury real estate, success is often measured in terms of properties sold and deals closed. However, there are individuals like Rob Thomson, whose success is defined not only by their business achievements but by their unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the community they serve. Rob Thomson has once again been nominated for the prestigious 2023 Extraordinary Philanthropy award from Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate’s (LRE), for his outstanding contributions to the betterment of our community.

Rob’s nomination was based on his many philanthropic contributions to Jupiter and the surrounding communities over the last year including:

  • Christmas in July Adoption Event: In a heartwarming gesture, Rob underwrote $10,000 of adoption fees during the Christmas in July Adoption Event at Big Dog Ranch Rescue. This event was for first responders, police, military personnel, and veterans to help them find their new furry companion without the burden of adoption fees. By easing the financial burden, Rob not only helped dogs find loving homes but also expressed gratitude to those who serve the community.
  • Veteran Dog Training Program: Rob's involvement in the Veteran Dog Training Program showcases his commitment to aiding veterans suffering from hardships like PTSD. By providing service dogs to over fifty veterans, he has not only improved their lives but also exemplified his dedication to those who have served this country.
  • The Hanley Foundation Board: Rob's nomination to The Hanley Foundation Board demonstrates his deep commitment to combating addiction and supporting the youth. His desire to create lasting change is palpable, and his contributions honor the memory of his late son, Bradley Boyer.
  •  Jupiter Medical Center Donation: Rob generously donated $25,000 to the Jupiter Medical Center, with a commitment to give an additional $75,000 over the next three years. Rob believes firmly in enhancing healthcare accessibility and quality for the individuals who truly need it.
  • Joyful Giving During the Holidays: Each year, Rob donates hundreds of brand-new bicycles to children from low-income households at the New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, bringing joy to families during the holiday season. Rob understands the challenges faced during the holiday season and believes an act of kindness, especially during the holidays, can truly create the magic of the season.
  • Acknowledgment and Awards: Rob's dedication to first responders in our community has been recognized by the Juno Beach Police Department and the First Responders Appreciation Foundation, both of which have honored him for his exceptional support and contributions.

A Worthy Candidate for Recognition
