West Brom Building Society has expanded its intermediary team and refreshed its digital offering, including launching a new LinkedIn page for intermediaries.
The society has welcomed a new intermediary business development manager (BDM) for the Southeast of England and for the first time appointed two new intermediary telephone BDM’s.
James O’Donnell takes up the role of field BDM for the Southeast. He brings over 17 years’ experience in financial services, as a broker and BDM.
He joins from Metro Bank, where he spent two years as an intermediary telephone BDM.
In addition to O’Donnell’s appointment, the society has expanded its team with the introduction of two telephone business development manager (TBDM) roles, taken up by Kandis Grant and Anisha Banger.
They bring in-depth knowledge of the West Brom’s intermediary services, having already worked within the intermediary support team.
As part of the society’s brand refresh, the team has also enhanced its digital offering, with a revamped broker website and a dedicated LinkedIn page for intermediaries.
The new website gives brokers clear and accessible information to better support clients. While the new LinkedIn page allows the team to share tailored updates and insights directly to the broker community.
Commenting West Brom BS head of intermediaries Alasdair McDonald said: “These positive changes reflect our commitment to delivering outstanding service and reinforces our position as a trusted lender for intermediaries.”
