Visit These Trails In Palm Beach County For Outdoor Fun

Palm Beach County is home to many activities and things to do. Besides the 47 miles of pristine sandy beaches and sunshine, Palm Beach County is home to miles and miles of great outdoor adventure trails for walking, running, hiking, horseback riding, and biking.

Here are some of our favorite trails for you to explore in our area.

Riverbend Park – Jupiter

Riverbend Park is considered one of the most scenic parks in South Florida. Native wildlife including turkey, racoons, otters, birds, deer, and more have been frequently spotted along the trails and tropical 666 acres of the park. The park is made up of the historic headwaters of the Loxahatchee Wild and Scenic River and the preserved battlefield from the Seminole War. Riverbend Park is located at 9060 W Indiantown Road, Jupiter.

Okeeheelee Park – West Palm Beach

The park is home to more than 1700 acres of land and is one of the largest parks in Palm Beach County. The park features more than 2.5 miles of trails for biking, walking and running through the wetlands and pine flatwoods. The park also features water skiing lakes, disco golf. Tennis courts, nature center, picnic and pavilion areas, dog park, recreational fields, Equestrian center, BMX track, and a championship 27-hole Okeeheelee Golf Course. Okeeheelee Park is located at 7715 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach.

Juno Dunes Natural Area – Juno Beach

The Natural area is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway and is home to the largest area of scrub habitat in the Palm Beaches. The Natural area is located near the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and features a great view from the top of the ancient sand dune. The area is also home to miles of sandy trails. Juno Dunes is located at 14501 US Highway One, Juno Beach.
