Chetwood Bank has appointed Mark Foulsham to its board as a non-executive director.

Foulsham brings over 30 years of experience in IT, operations, and third-party procurement.

His career spans roles at South East Water, SAUR UK, Macquarie Bank, Esure, GoCompare, Scope, and Kensington Mortgages, where he held senior executive positions including chief information officer and chief operating officer.

He has also worked as an adviser to organisations across regulated sectors, including Zempler Bank, Mansfield Building Society, Prudential, SEGRO, the UK Civil Aviation Authority, and Camelot.

He has held non-executive roles at Cobweb, Leeds Credit Union, and Franklin Music, and has served as a board advisor to CIONET and Partners in Change Consulting.

Foulsham joins the digital challenger bank shortly after it reported its balance sheet had surpassed £5bn and announced a new office in Manchester. The bank also recently appointed Rob Pomphrett as a non-executive director.

Foulsham says: “It’s a great opportunity to join Chetwood Bank at such an exciting time in its journey. I’ve often joined organisations at a relatively early stage in their growth and the prospect of helping to shape their direction is truly energising.

“The experience I’ve gained throughout my career has given me a great grounding in supporting and managing problem solving in an orchestrated and harmonious way.”

Chetwood Bank chief executive Paul Noble says: “We’re thrilled to welcome Mark to the board as a non-executive director.

“His experience and strong multi-faceted track record will add real depth to our governance as we enter our next phase of growth.”
