I happens every four years. With each new presidential election cycle, we receive questions about the election and real estate: 

• Will mortgage rates change based on who becomes our next president? 
• Should I buy or sell my home before or after the election takes place?  
• What is likely to happen to the market if candidate x becomes president? 

Although there is plenty of chatter in the media about the election and real estate, our experience is that the election results don't significantly impact the direction of our local market.

What can change significantly over time are the life goals that guide your real estate decisions.
