The Port of Palm Beach, in Palm Beach County, is the fourth-busiest container port in Florida and the twenty-fifth busiest port in the continental United States. In addition to intermodal capacity, the Port is a major point for the shipment of bulk sugar, molasses, cement, utility fuels, water, produce, and Bahamian Cruises. Did you know that except for the Cruzan Spiced Rum brand, all Cruzan Rum is shipped from St. Croix to the Port of Palm Beach and then sent to be bottled?

Bahamas Paradise Cruise line started in 2014 and began sailing from Palm Beach to the Bahamas a year later. The port was chosen because of its central location within Palm Beach County and if you travel on the cruise, you are never more than one day away from the tropical island. The Grand Classica ship will be the first cruise back in the Port of Palm Beach. Normally the cruise line has two ships that leave out of Palm Beach County, The Grand Classica, and the Grand Celebration. Both ships offer several dining venues, entertainment, lounges, bars, pools, a kid’s club, casinos, unlimited food, and drink packages.

Right now, the cruise line is offering special deals and discounts for more than one passenger. To book your next cruise to the Bahamas, click here. Please check the cruise lines website for specifics.
