Keystone Property Finance has appointed Steve Griffiths as its new commercial director.

Griffiths brings more than 30 years of financial services experience, with expertise across the specialist mortgage sector.

He joins Keystone from Shawbrook Bank, where he was the commercial director for Retail Mortgage Brands, which included The Mortgage Lender and Bluestone.

During his time there, Griffiths played a key role in delivering growth, expanding distribution across the intermediary market and leading the development of product and pricing strategies.

In his new role, Griffiths will work closely with chief executive David Whittaker and managing director Elise Coole, overseeing both sales and product marketing functions to support the next phase of Keystone’s expansion.

Commenting on his appointment, Coole says: “Steve is widely respected across the industry and brings a wealth of experience in building and delivering successful strategies within the specialist lending market.”
