One Mortgage System has appointed Esther Morley as a non-executive director.
Morley brings more than 30 years’ experience in financial services across the UK and Ireland, spanning banking, building societies and specialist lending.
She began her career at HSBC and HFC Bank, where she led analytics teams covering credit risk, marketing and product and pricing development.
She later joined Kensington Mortgages in 2006, holding a number of senior roles including responsibility for originations, product development, marketing and post-completion servicing and collections.
In 2016, Morley moved to Secure Trust Bank as managing director of mortgages, where she built the business from initial concept through to a growing portfolio.
She went on to join LendInvest in 2021, helping to establish its specialist residential mortgage division, before later taking on the role of chief operating officer at ColCap UK.
Alongside her executive career, Morley has also launched her own consultancy, providing strategic advice to banks and lenders, and previously held a non-executive role as chair of risk at Beverley Building Society.
Dale Jannels says: “I am delighted to welcome someone of Esther’s calibre and experience into OMS at what is a very exciting time for the business.
“Her hands-on knowledge of lender processes, risk appetites and what keeps lender executive teams awake at night will give myself and the OMS team valuable insights to ensure we continue to deliver a market leading origination technology solution to the lending sector.”
Morley says: “Dale and Neal have built an incredible business and have constantly challenged the status quo, which has resulted in tremendous success in winning contracts with lenders for their originations systems from legacy providers.
“However, with success comes pressures as competition in the sector is fierce and I look forward to working with the OMS board to build upon the successes and achievements attained so far.”
