This January, the South Florida Fairgrounds transforms into the ultimate carnival filled with games, dozens of delicious food stands and carnival rides. The South Florida Fair is coming to town for just 17 days this January 17th through February 2nd. The South Florida Fair is considered to be one of the Top Fairs in Florida. This year the theme is “Play Ball, Play Fair!” and will celebrate the popular sports here in Palm Beach County. The South Florida Fair has been running for more than 100 years and draws huge crowds from all over South Florida. Every year thousands of visitors and tourist come to enjoy the large selection of rides, live entertainment on four stages and some of the best fair food. The Fair features more than 200 carnival rides, some of the greatest fair foods, over 1000 exhibitors, thrilling amusement rides, bumper boats, gondolas, and a 155-foot-high portable observation wheel called the Midway Sky Eye. New to this year is the Friday Nights Lights Dance Party on Friday, January 24th at the Party Pavilion. The night will feature a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, and entertainment and dancing provided by the energetic Private Property Band.
