Nottingham Building Society has promoted four members of its intermediary sales team as it plans new product launches for the second half of the year.

The mutual says the changes are designed to strengthen its support for clubs, networks and key account partners.

Samantha Watts has been appointed as national account manager on a six-month secondment, reporting to sales director Matt Kingston.

Watts, who has been a field business development manager (BDM) covering the South West since 2022, will work alongside Beckie Morton to support strategic broker relationships.

Amirah Alyaus will become the named contact for brokers in the South West.

Ami Cammack has been promoted from the telephone team to a field BDM role covering the Central region, which is her fourth promotion since joining Nottingham in 2023.

Lucy Smith has also been promoted from intermediary support officer to telephone BDM, supporting brokers in London.

Rachel Bridle is returning to the sales team following maternity leave.

Nottingham has made a series of criteria enhancements introduced in the first half of this year, with further specialist residential lending propositions due to launch in the coming months.

Sales director Matt Kingston says: “We are entering an important next phase, as we continue to build a mortgage proposition that reflects the realities of today’s market and the changing needs of borrowers.

“Over the past year, we have been strengthening the foundations across our intermediary business, from the way we support brokers to the products and propositions we are preparing to bring forward.

“These changes are about making sure we have the right structure, focus, and expertise in place to deliver our plans with confidence.

“There is more to come from us in the second half of the year as we continue to develop specialist residential lending solutions designed to support customers whose circumstances may not fit traditional lending models.
