By using the CXAIR platform Bath Building Society will be able to underpin its current data management and reporting activities with a robust, secure, scalable technology layer.

The society will use CXAIR to:

  • Support operational reporting and assurance activities
  • Support regulatory reporting processes
  • Support operational MI requirements
  • Automate the production of regular reporting where appropriate

CXAIR will also enable Bath Building Society to deliver additional value from the data that it has under management by providing the analytic tools to generate actionable insights from these data assets.

Decision making based on the evidence that CXAIR analyses provide will mean the society can respond more effectively to the changing needs of its customers and the market and to remain competitive in todays’ challenging business environment.

Bath Building Society traces its origins back to 1904 when it was set-up originally as a friendly society. It used members’ investments to buy property to rent, becoming a building society in the 1950s, lending money for people in Bath to buy their own homes.

Today the society provides a range of mortgage and savings products to over 10,000 members. It specialises in niche mortgages and is renowned for innovative products for first-time buyers, students and older borrowers.

Tom Leach, finance director at Bath Building Society, said: “Connexica’s CXAIR data management and analytics platform will enable colleagues to access, analyse and report on the society’s data in a way which will create insight to assist decision making; and help the society to identify opportunities to enhance the products and services we provide to our members.”

Gary Luke, managing director at Connexica, said: “We are delighted to have won this contract and to be working with Bath Building Society. The society is a great match for the Connexica solution and philosophy, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

The Connexica CXAIR platform is now deployed in 10 building societies across England and Northern Ireland.
