Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS) has extended its long-standing relationship with Coventry Building Society.

Under the renewed contract, CSS will continue to deliver valuation services in support of the society’s residential and buy-to-let mortgage lending activity across the UK.

The contract also incorporates Co-op Bank, which is now a subsidiary of the society.

CSS managing director Matthew Cumber says: “Over the years, we’ve worked closely with Coventry Building Society to develop a valuation approach that balances efficiency with appropriate risk oversight.”

“As property risk factors become more varied, whether that’s environmental considerations, changing property types or shifting market conditions, access to high-quality data and experienced professional judgement becomes even more important.”

Coventry Building Society head of servicing mortgage operations Shelley Rodway adds: “We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Countrywide Surveying Services for a further five years.
