Generation Home has cut rates up to 0.51% across its two-and five-year fixed rates.

The lender has lowered its five-year fixed rates starting at 5.43%, reduced by 0.41% from 5.84%, on LTVs up to 80% with a fee of £999.

The two-year fixed has been reduced to 5.20% by 0.22% from 5.42%, for products up to 80% LTV with a fee of £999.

Gen H commercial director Pete Dockar says: “It’s been an exciting few weeks for Gen H. Keeping our rates competitive will help even more aspiring homeowners, home movers, and remortgagors find their place on the property ladder. That’s something we’re really proud of.”

Earlier this month, Gen H raised a Series B round of funding led by Legal & General.

Legal & General acquired an 18.75% stake, taking a seat on the board alongside Peter Thiel’s Mithril Capital and Brent Hoberman’s Firstminute Capital.
