The top five lenders in our ranking have a combined HELOC volume of more than $93 billion at the end of the fourth quarter of 2022. While many lenders saw a modest increase between Q3 and Q4, one firm outperformed significantly with a rise of 857.26%.

The data in this ranking came from National Mortgage News' MortgageStats site, which pulls from quarterly call reports available from the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.
