New MLS listings increased for both homes and condos last month. Here's a quick review of Dane County listing activity for the month of March, 2026. 

Dane County single family homes 

A total of 588 Dane County single family homes were listed for sale in March, up 5 percent from the 562 homes listed for sale in March of 2025. This was welcome news for buyers after listings decreased in both January and February. 

Dane County condos

Condo listings increased for the third straight month. A total of 183 Madison area condos were listed for sale in March, up 20 percent from the 152 condos in March of 2025.
